About Threshold: Journal of Interdisciplinary Consciousness Studies (TJICS)
TJICS is a free, online-only, open access, peer-reviewed journal that disseminates information focusing on interdisciplinary studies of consciousness as it relates to dying, death, and what comes next.

Articles include original research, review articles, research briefs, conference presentations, education and training aids, essays, editorials, case studies, and book reviews. Specific content is tailored to meet the needs of practitioners, clinicians, scientists, and the general public.

Publication 
TJICS publishes two volumes per year, with new articles posted online as soon as they are available.

Peer-Review
All articles, with the exception of the "From the Editor" section, are peer-reviewed prior to publication. Original Research articles are peer-reviewed by at least one independent reviewer. Other journal sections are reviewed by the editorial team with external content experts consulted on a case-by-case basis. For questions about the peer-review status of a specific article, please contact the Managing Editor

Ethics
Allegations and evidence of researcher misconduct should be emailed to the Managing Editor for review.  

Submissions
Submissions to TJICS are by invitation only. Unsolicited manuscripts will not be reviewed.
Please do not send review copies of books to the editors or the publisher. They will not be reviewed in the journal. 

Fees
TJICS does not charge the author any fees for publication. 

Advertising 
TJICS does not accept advertising.
